PROJECT 4 - COLENSO STREET

The client brief for this coastal kitchen was to incorporate warm timber tones and subtle curves. A warm, neutral colour palette was selected making the space feel calming and effortless. The kitchen design has a simple yet functional layout, making the most of storage opportunities where possible. Floating shelves add some contrast to the tall joinery on either side of the range hood and allows the client to personalise their space with decor and kitchen accessories. Melteca - Aged Ash was used throughout the Kitchen and Scullery for a harmonious look and to showcase the handmade clay tiles from Tiles of Ezra as a feature around the Kitchen Island. Fresh Concrete by Caesarstone was chosen for the benchtop to add texture and depth while also brightening up the space. It was also utilised along the back wall of the kitchen as a splashback for the cooking area, finishing underneath the floating shelves. A curve was incorporated at the end of the benchtop Island to soften the space and reflect the curve in the archway leading to the Scullery.
