PROJECT - KENNEDYS BUSH
The client brief for this project was to incorporate English cottage and coastal influences to create a warm and inviting family kitchen. To achieve this, we combined traditional elements, such as the ‘shaker’ profile on the cabinetry doors, with modern touches like the Ascale porcelain benchtop in a luxurious ‘marble’ design. The kitchen cabinetry has been finished in Resene ‘Half Stack’ which creates a soft and calming colour palette. The timber grain floating shelves add another texture to the design and compliments the timber flooring. For a cohesive look, we extended the Ascale porcelain to serve as the splashback along the back wall. However, the true showstopper is the curved island, created using Genia half-round battens which continue around to the breakfast bar area, concealing a hidden cupboard.
