PROJECT 9 - BELLAM
The client envisioned a moody and dramatic kitchen, using a variety of textures to create a cozy feel. The centerpiece of the design is the kitchen island, which features a bold curve and timber battens. We chose the 'Castlepoint' profile from Genia to create this curved shape, adding a unique element to the design. The cabinetry throughout was made using an American white oak veneer, finished in a custom dark stain which juxtaposes beautifully with the warmth of the copper hardware. The finishing on the rangehood cabinetry is a bespoke copper coating created by the team at Remarkable Surfaces. The client opted to used Ascale porcelain, which adds another texture to space and creates a cohesive look between the benchtop and splashback.
